Emma Mundy

Emma Mundy has been involved in music from a very young age and is excited to join the team at Huntingburg United Methodist Church!

Previous experience has included playing piano for churches on a regular basis and working as a collaborative pianist for the choral department at Center Grove Middle School North and for the theatre department at Center Grove Community High School. She also served as an accompanist for Franklin Community Middle School and played a role in starting the “Sensations” show choir at Franklin Community High School, which won third place at their very first competition and has received the state title in the ISSMA Women’s Show Choir division for the last two years.

In addition to teaching Music and Psychology at Washington Catholic, Emma provides music for weddings and special events and regularly provides piano accompaniment at music conferences, concerts, and contests. She has participated in several vocal and instrumental contests and has won several awards, including the Arion award, which the oldest and most prestigious national award in for outstanding achievement by high school musicians in band, orchestra and chorus. Her most recent achievement was getting to accompany for 2020 Grammy Nominee, Jake Runestad.

Emma holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Human Services and is currently taking courses with hopes of becoming a P.A.
